Prophecy is not only about foretelling the future, but also about speaking God’s will, encouragement, direction, and correction. A Christian needs words of prophecy for encouragement, guidance, spiritual strength, revelation, building up the church, and confirming God’s promises. It aligns believers with God’s will and equips them for victorious living.
